Patrols further Explained:
- Internal Roves: Check all doors inside BLDG and garage area observing for any Criminal Activity or otherwise Transient Activity
- External Roves: Check all doors outside BLDG and surrounding perimeter areas around BLDG observing for any Criminal Activity or otherwise Transient Activity
- External Roves Vehicle: Drive inside parking lot area and parking garage area observing for any Criminal Activity or otherwise Transient Activity
- Surveillance Detection: Overt - Monitoring parking lot area and external perimeter in Plain View in order to deter Criminal Activity or otherwise Transient Activity
- Surveillance Detection: Covert - Monitoring Bldg. area in Concealed fashion, observing, listening, and watching for Criminal Activity or otherwise Transient Activity
- Lighting Survey: Checking level of illumination to clearly identify persons or objects within parking lot area and internal to the building to include emergency lights (where applicable)
Definitions:
- Covert Surveillance Detection - Activity done in a "Concealed" manner.
- Overt Surveillance Detection - Activity done in "Plan View".
- Plain View - Activity done with the explicit purpose of being visible and seen within public view, in order to deter Criminal Activity or Transient Activity
- Concealed - Activity done in a way that tries to ensure the subjects of interest are unaware that observation is being conducted in order to deter Criminal Activity or Transient Activity.
- Lighting Survey - Inspecting the lighting within the parking lot area, inside building area, parking lot garages and emergency lighting within facility where applicable
- All discrepancies will be reported on an occurrence basis or when and where applicable to Management or Facilities Manager
- Monthly reports will be submitted to Facilities Director or applicable Management at the end of each month, depicting all Security Elements Conducted for the month, and highlighted with Graphical data depicting areas of interest or potential mitigation
